Another slaughter. Only three people showed up so it was just games for fun, but here's how they went:
Round 1: vs. R/G Pummeler (mirror) (2-0). This is a scary matchup - but I was able to combo-kill him game one, and game two I boarded in all four of …

Well, this deck is an untamed beast. The majority of decks can't hold if we are on a play, but on a draw the game is won and lost in micro decisions. Be careful with spending an energy - we don't have a lot of ways to produce it. I've …

Went 3-0 and got first place! Excellent showing by the deck.
1st round: vs. U/G Clues (2-0). Easy enough couple of games. Only nearly lost one to a double-Confront the Unknown, but blocked to avoid death.
2nd round: vs. W/B Midrange (2-0). Not quite as easy this time, but manageable. …

Removed Root Out. Despite the Kaladesh being an artefact set I don't see any 4+ CMC artifact that we should get rid of no matter what. Brought back Verdurous Gearhulk - this card is a beast (no it's construct). May give us an upper hand in mirror-ish match-ups

I went 1-2 this week.
GB Deliriium: 1-2, stumbled on mana and poor sideboarding choices.
UB Zombies: 2-0, stomped him.
Bant Human Company: 0-2, mana-flood (only 4 non-land cards in a very long game) then mana-screw.
I also had to mulligan more than I'd like. All in all, obnoxious and …

Went 2-1 today, against:
White-Black Midrange (1-2)
(Free Round)
Fevered Visions (2-0)
I'm glad that Fevered Visions got stomped as hard as it did, because that deck is nonsense. My loss to White-Black Midrange in the first match was due to a mistaken sideboarding strategy due to my mistaking White-Black …

In what is becoming traditional for my Game Day ventures, I got 2nd place. Turnout was relatively low, but there was stiff competition. I beat out White Weenies and Bant Company, only to lose to Esper Dragons in the finals, poetically enough. However, I mulliganed both games against Esper Dragons …

Went 2-1! Good times.
Match 1: vs. Bant Company (1-2). I notice an uncanny pattern in my games against this deck - if they get more than one Reflector Mage, they win, and if they don't, they don't. He got three in the first game, I believe one in the …

First try with this deck - made a few last-minute adjustments/additions since I didn't have exactly everything I wanted. Notably, I took out the Outland Colossus in favor of, of all things, Somberwald Stag. It ended up doing fairly well in the game that I got it, so that may …

After really taking my week off on July 4th, I've come back for another successful week, this time with all my Sylvan Advocates and World Breakers. At last, a week with my complete deck!
I ended up going 2-0-1 (intentional draw). I did lose the two games we played for …

I know I said I'd take a week off, but I figured I'd go in even with a partially-completed deck. This week, I was missing two Advocates and all three World Breakers, but in spite of that, I went 3-0! Very encouraging, and I assume that when I do complete …

Not as successful this time around - went 1-2.
Match 1: vs. Bant Human Company (1-2). It took me way too long to find my first Displacement Wave game one, resulting in a loss. Game two went my way, with a couple of Sphinx of the Final Words and a …

My first week with playing this deck in a physical space, and I went 2-1! As you might have guessed from that result number, the venue I play at is fairly small. But let's walk through what happened.
Match 1: vs. Naya Ramp (0-2). I lost the first game due …
