I did better than ever before at FNM.

I won the first round vs. Boros Convoke 2-1

I lost the 2nd round 1-2 vs. Izzet Pheonix.

I lost the third round vs. Boros heroic 1-2.

However thats 4 total games won which is better by a lot than the other …

Decided to not even get Fetid Pools later. This current mana base was so solid through 3 rounds of best of 3... I don't remember playing a tapped land at all other than late game Hall of Storm Giants.

I think I need to trim about 5-8 creatures and put some other utility/draw effects in to help it speed up.

The problem with Vampires, I have discovered, is that in order to budget them you have to remove everything unique and convert the deck into a standard tribal.

Like I could get rid of Guul Draz Assassin for Nekrataal but that kills a bit of the Vampire flavour for cost …
