3-1. i was the only top 8 person that didnt want to split so i reluctantly agreed. trade in got me the last crusader and 2nd skithiryx so i am not mad.
1st round 2-0 loss vs white weenie quest. 1st game super fast argentum and i drew no good removal. 2nd game flying with pro-black thanks to another fast Sword of Feast and Famine . saw no Black Sun's Zenith which would have helped tremendously.
2nd round 2-1 win vs RDW. he was so fast and it was so close with the 1st game being won at 1 life.
3rd round 2-0 win vs Pyromancer Ascension . he couldn't burn the crusaders and they made him pay.
4th round 2-0 win vs elves. player wasn't very good but my build would have taken them down regardless

2-2First night playing the deck.
Beat White Knights 2-0 with help from Fog after SB.
Beat Mono-Red with 2-1 with a little luck. SBing Naturalize for the Shrine was apparently a good idea.
Lost 0-2 to Elves + Vengevine. It was just entirely too fast. The one Fog I pulled surprised him quite a bit in game 2, though.
Last game was the closest. Lost 1-2 to Eldrazi green. I went off on turn 5 in the first game, and he scooped. The second, game, I missed one trigger on Awakening Zone that would've let me go off before he dropped the Ratchet Bomb that would also kill me game 3.
All in all, I'm pretty happy with it. Decided Ratchet Bomb is public enemy number one, and dropped the spell pierces for hard counters to it. It seems the deck's only hope against hyper-aggressive builds like the Elves I played is lucky draws with lots of Fog and maybe some unlucky draws for the opponent. I imagine that if you could, going off would tear them to pieces, though.
