Bull Rush its kinda a removal plus kinda burn at the same time.

Claws of Valakut is an aura which gives teh bad guy a high chance of a two for one, Sejiri Merfolk is a bear at worst hate draft at best

Sejiri Merfolk is my vote

why would we go with the merfolk...? They are a 2/1 which the opponent wont even bother to block its that bad.

So for me its Claws of Valakut or Bull Rush or the Halimar Excavator

Claws a probably going to be best suited to the mono red deck, if we take that road. But i can see that the first strike could be rather handy.

bull rush would be effective pretty much everywhere but its only a 2 extra damage and not as impressive as Slaughter Cry in terms of removal.

the excavator is pretty much a hate seen as we have passed one on, and in the first pack 2 -3 umara raptors. I wouldnt be passing this one on this time.

But yeah i think that the claws probably outweigh the excavator

Claws of Valakut , like all auras, could get 2/1'd, but it's still the best pick here. Sejiri Merfolk just sucks, Bull Rush isn't as good, etc. etc.

Claws of Valakut , it's worth it just for the first strike.

My vote goes to the claws. It's quality pump, and it gives first strike as well. Nothing not to love.

Claws of Valakut is the pick I'll make, though I do so like Bull Rush .
