Well, going off what I learned last pick, I presume we'll want a second Sejiri Merfolk to accompany our first? Who knows, with a tiny sploosh of white, we might even want to play that Journey to Nowhere we picked up way back when.

the reason we took Sejiri Merfolk last time is because there wasnt anything better.

in this back, we can TOTALLY hate draft the excavator.

I'm actually for including Halimar Excavator in our deck. I don't think hate-drafting her is particularly effective because this pack has gone around the table, and we know exactly what has been taken from it. If someone was running allies and had blue, this would have been the pick over any of the other cards taken- none of them are very impressive. So I don't think anyone is doing allies in blue, or for that matter, red.

Excavator is decent meat for our deck because she's a 1/3 and soaks up weenies pretty well. There's also the tiny benefit of milling one, and the off chance that we might pick up another one.

Point. Fine then. Still Excavator, but we'll use her.

eh- why not, lets take the Halimar Excavator , though, I do wonder what Tectonic Edge could do for us

Tectonic Edge is a lot better in constructed than it is in limited, I'll tell you that much.

I love the Sejiri Merfolk oh how I wish we'd gone blue white just for two of those... oh well I guess the four Burst Lightning s will just have to do.

why the hell did we take the Sejiri Merfolk in the first place. We should have gone with the ally, Thus making this pick of the Halimar Excavator That much better

Ours is an aggressive deck, our first priority should be to charge at them like a crazy person on a sugar high.

We want attack more than we want defence, so I'd go with the Sejiri Merfolk .

What's done is done. Can't go back and grab the others we saw in earlier packs. Can't grab that Akoum Battlesinger or the Umara Raptor s. Should probably keep an eye out for more allies, though.
