My thoughts Golem Artisan to regularly pump our artifact creatures, and be a 3/3 body himself or
Flesh Allergy because it just kills dudes... and while yes we have to sac something to make it work we are gonna have a ton of weenie creatures on the board, and this is an absolute answer to something.
I suppose a 2nd Sylvok Lifestaff is also possible...
but for now my vote i think is going to the Flesh Allergy cuz it just kills creatures.

hmm... looking back at our deck again i may have to change my vote to the artisan. We just don't have enough beef, and this guy can create bomb like characteristics when we use his abilities... but they are pretty mana hungry... so we probably aren't using them too many times.... and i do love flat answers....leaning closer actually to the artisan after reading what JaceFace had to say and looking back at our deck but not quite changing my vote yet. Gonna see a bit more how the debate turns out... but i may end up supporting the artisan.

Flesh Allergy is really only good in certain decks; particularly sacrifice decks, so you can ensure that there's a large number of creatures put in the graveyard that turn when you cast it. It's also double-black, which we're looking at only splashing right now.
I agree the choice here is Golem Artisan . The Lifestaff makes a decent case for itself as well, but I think the Artisan wins for the reason JaceFace and landot mention.

Well, Golem Artisan yeah...but let's not forget the merits of that panic spellbomb!

No question that Golem Artisan is the pick - hes a first pick in pack one regardless. Think of him as the Morphling that fits any deck, he's a house in draft, and makes lategame myr deadly and evasive clocks. Pair it with Liquimetal Coating and suddenly cards like Scoria Elemental (previously unplayable) become instant wins.
One of the great plays with this guy is chumping or trading (or accumulating poison counters), long story short: allowing him to die profitably, and then recurring him with Razor Hippogriff for a second chance, while gaining a significant lifeboost.
Replica, Heartstoaker, spellbomb and Lifestaff are all honorable mentions.

@ MagnorCriol, Flesh Allergy is really good in all decks, it is total removal of their best creature. It just gets better in sacrifice decks... not to say that we don't have some sac mechanics in this deck b/c we do. All that said i will change my vote to the Golem Artisan there by making him the unanimous choice. Hopefully that will help us move on to the next pack sooner.

Panic Spellbomb is a fine card because it replaces itself and is early metalcraft. It still isn't as good as Golem Artisan though.

I think this one should pretty obviously be Golem Artisan .
