Misclick! MISCLICK
....and eventually C lost the game to cat tokens.
Trust me, it just goes on and on with me not drawing stuff and getting pinged for six until I die. Then the last turn I draw Chancellor of the Tangle, but it's too late.

This is not a good situation for me. I have no counterspells, and Sun Titan can't be far off. I also would love to draw a Slime or Bramblecrush right now...
End step, E casts Forbidden Alchemy discarding Flashfreeze, Day of Judgment, and Consecrated Sphinx.
That HAS to mean the kept card was Sun Titan.
On his own turn, E casts Timely Reinforcements and passes.
Hmm
T8
C draws Forest, does nothing, and passes.
E attacks with two soldiers and hits. (C18, E12). He passes.

Veil is such a solid control card. I never thought I'd hear myself saying that.

Very gutsy play. I am showing c-spell mana, but I think he has divined that I don't have it.

E casts Unburial Rites and C concedes. E wins the match 2-0.
No chance now.
Thoughts
1 - Solar Flare is flarin'.
2 - I thought this was a pretty nice matchup, 2-0 notwithstanding. Game 1 was headed my way I think, until my misclick. Game 2, he stomped me, and though I had some bad draws, the play from my opponent was also REALLY solid. Wish I could have seen a game 3.

@keneke01
The good thing about cards on MTGO is that you can usually get back most of the value you put in if you need it. Like real cards, you can sell them at a slight loss, or break-even/gain if you're lucky.
Really, what I'm paying for when I play MTGO is the rule enforcement. I have had it up to here with people who want to argue rules with me all day. MTGO enforces the rules ruthlessly and silently. That way I can concentrate on play rather than linking my opponent to the comprehensive rules.

sounds interesting, the only time I tried it I got really confused with my library and gave up. I think I remember hearing some rumor about if you get every card in a set they send you the physical copy, is that right?
Thanks for the clarification!

Daily Dose, especially Standard, is like heroin to me, and I was so happy to read it yesterday. (looks around the room) Was the heroin reference too much? No? I'm going to sit back down then.

Heh. Sorry I haven't been providing your fix. The transcription is really a time-sucker. Trying to find some way to streamline it.

Do you recommend MTGO? I have trouble thinking of the money poured into the game as useful?
Thanks for any insight!
