The Semifinals
The lights dim and the crowd hushes.
Ladies and gentlemen, each of the cards before you today is two victories away from winning the Grand Championship. We now meet our FIIINALLLLLLLL.....FOUR!
Ladies and gentlemen, introducing our first semifinalist, seeded eighth, originally hailing from RrrrrrrrAVnica set, weighing in at a casting cost of one colorless and one black, he is a creature with a power of 2 and a toughness of 1, the Great One, Bob, the Exemplar of Black, the champion of the Creature division......
vs.
And now, his opponent, seeded FIRST, originally hailing from ALPHA, weighing in at a casting cost of one blue, an instant that some call the most high-powered card in the history of Magic, a boon, a member of the Power Nine, the champion of the Instant division.....
KrazyCaley - "Bob continues on to the Final Four by pushing past the Alpha Duals in a tough back-and-forth battle where the Alpha Duals held the lead for most of the fight. Meanwhile, Recall had an even more difficult matchup against Demonic Tutor, which it defeated in the end by only a single vote. It's definitely going to be an interesting matchup between these two powerful card advantage monsters to see who gets to the finals. Here with me is my color commentator and defeated Round of 32 competitor Counterspell. Counterspell, do you have any thoughts on this matchup?"
Counterspell - "No."
KrazyCaley - "All right, well let's watch the introductions for our next pair of Final Four contenders."
And now, our next contender, hailing from TIIIIIIIiiiime Spiral, seeded thirteenth, weighing in at a casting cost of WHITE, BLUE, BLACK, RED, GREEN, with a power of four and a toughness of four, the tournament gatecrasher, the blood of the Ur-Dragon, the champion of the EDH General Division...
vs.
And now, his opponent, originally hailing from Conflux with an earlier character representation in Legends, seeded fifth and weighing in at a casting cost of FOUR colorless, ONE red, TWO black, and ONE blue, and starting with five loyalty counters, the SINGLE MOST DANGEROUS BEING IN THE MULTIVERSE, Dominaria's Most Ancient Evil, the Mastermind, the champion of the Planeswalker Division....
KrazyCaley - "And here we have two underdog dragons who made the favorites in their divisions look silly; Scion of course defeating Zur the Enchanter *f-etch* on his way to claiming the EDH throne, while Bolas had no problems at all against Jace, the Mind Sculptor, did he?"
Counterspell - "No."
KrazyCaley - "It should be an interesting matchup between Scion and Bolas. Both are dragons, of course, although it's not clear how that will play into the match. Scion definitely has fan support as a very longlasting Cinderella, but some antipathy started to show through in his last match against Black Lotus, and here he faces a very beloved card in Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker, who beat Necropotence in the last round much more handily than Scion beat Black Lotus. Closing thoughts, Counterspell?"
Counterspell - "No."
KrazyCaley - "In that case, let's sit back and enjoy the action here in the Final Four!"
Counterspell - "No."

Bob
Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker . Sorry Scion, as much as I love five color and dragons, Bolas was the card that got me interested in MTG.

Dark Confidant vs Scion of the Ur-Dragon
- I mean really Scion could just go back in time, pay 2: turn into Nicol Bolas , then never get his spark in the first place.

- Ancestral Recall
- Scion of the Ur-Dragon . He defeated one Power Nine card; what's stopping him from stomping another after he eats Bolas?

Bob gives raw card advantage over a longer time, and can often draw you more than 3 cards if you know what you're doing. Bob is better.
Scion of the Ur-Dragon should win this whole tournament.

- Dark Confidant advances to the finals because Ancestral Recall gets its power from being an irresponsibly bad design, and that's just distasteful
- I started this whole thing trying to play it straight with my voting, but recent tournament events and years of personal experience have convinced me that Scion of the Ur-Dragon is one of the best cards in Magic

1) Dark Confidant because Bob is just awesome. Ancestral Recall is ridiculously broken, but Bob is far cooler and more favourful.
2) For me, Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker wins the battle of the awesome dragons. He is able to take control of Scion. Therefore, he wins.

Ancestral Recall VS Scion of the Ur-Dragon . Just so Scion can stomp another power nine for the ultimate victory.

Dark Confidant wins, only because of the horrible new art for the Ancestral Recall . You should have shown the other one.
Scion of the Ur-Dragon wins because of the same reason it beat Thraximundar . five colors trumps three.
I dont think he can beat bob in the finals, though.

Bob just because he is bob
Nicol Bolas because he can (a) take control of scion and (b) make him be sacrificed
