A winner has been crowned in each category. Now they fight each other for ULTIMATE SUPREMACY.
(8) Dark Confidant
In a back-and-forth battle, the tide finally swings in Bob's favor, and he stands atop the creatures.
vs.
(1) The Original Dual Lands (e.g. Underground Sea )
The Alpha Duals storm past all resistance, even the mighty Tolarian Academy, to take the land bracket, and now they face Robert.
(1) Ancestral Recall
Because in the end, Ancestral Recall can draw you three of any other instant.
vs.
(2) Demonic Tutor
Putting a CARD in your HAND was enough to beat even Power Nine member Time Walk for the sorcery championship. DT will have to get past another, even more broken Power Niner to get to the Final Four, though.
Shockingly, Jace, the Mind Sculptor goes down in flames against the Mighty Mighty Bolas, who destroys all the other Planeswalkers for +3, of course. Can the guy who puts the ED in EDH win it all, starting by getting +3 for destroying Necropotence?
vs.
(3) Necropotence
A lot of money had to be on Necropotence to win the enchantments bracket, and it finally stops the underrated Fastbond. Can it get past Nicky B to move on?
(1) Black Lotus
No surprises here, as Black Lotus comfortably wins against Sol Ring to top the artifacts bracket. But now it faces the unlikely hero from the EDH bracket...
vs.
The crowd is silent for a moment before erupting into the SCI-ON! chant. Cinderella is supposed to have her fun and then leave quietly when things get serious, proud of having made it this far. But Scion of the Ur-Dragon is, apparently, the greatest EDH general, and to continue its storybook run, it must now stop the almighty Black Lotus, which would be an achievement to be remembered for all time regardless of whether Scion makes it any further.

- Dark Confidant : Black wins. I know 40% of the duals tap for black, but Bob wins over the other 60% easily.
- Demonic Tutor : Black wins
- Necropotence : Black is better than Grixis.
- Well, it's upset everything else so far, why stop now: SCION! SCION! SCION!

Original Dual Lands. They go in every single Legacy and Vintage deck worth playing. All of them. Bob, as good and card advantagey as he is, does not.
Demonic Tutor puts a card in your hand, of your choice, for 2 mana. While Ancestral Recall is the best INSTANT in the game (apparently), Demonic Tutor is the best card.
Necropotence wins the game a number of turns before Bolas even comes into play.
Scion of the Ur-Dragon is going to win because of the scenario Caley is making, haha. It's actually a mediocre magic card. :P

Original Dual lands. No Contest here.
Demonic Tutor . I have yet to play a game where this card wasn't an important part of my victory.
Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker . COME ON BOLAS +3 THAT BASTARD!
Scion of the Ur-Dragon . SCI-ON! SCI-ON! SCI-ON!

- Dark Confidant
- When it comes down to it, he can still swing.
- Ancestral Recall
- Of the two greeds, I go with the faster one.
- Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker
- Long live the king.
- Scion of the Ur-Dragon - Because I could either have a turn 1 three drop some of the time, or I could have three decent Scion EDH decks for that monetary price. Enjoy my vote, Cinderella.

I wonder if the people voting to Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker have ever played a game with Necropotence ?

Because some cards are so unfun to play against that factions have developed that deliberately vote against them. Black Lotus is next: not only does it have such a faction against it, but it also has to contend with Cinderella of the Ur-Dragon.

- The Dual Lands win because they're so great
- Demonic Tutor wins because it finishes the combo and ends the game
- Necropotence wins because not even Bolas can top that kind of power
- Scion of the Ur-Dragon wins because he deserves it

I thought this project was fun, but maybe next time, it would be a nice idea, to give some context. As in, "Which of these is best?", and then peopel can state their reasons and argue and debate over it. Because the fact is, and I don't mean to offend, Time Walk is better than Demonic Tutor , and Jace, the Mind Sculptor is better than Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker .

- Original Duals. Shock lands without the shock? Yes, please.
- Demonic Tutor . While drawing 3 for U is great, tutoring 1 for 1B is better.
- Jace, the Mind Sculptor anyone? fine, fine, Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker if he MUST be here...Winning the game > card advantage
- Scion of the Ur-Dragon because...just because

AlexOAwesome, people should be able to vote for whatever they want. The competition parameters were left open deliberately. I'll quote from the original March Magic Madness article: "What makes a card "best?" Well, that's up to you. Maybe it's more fun, maybe it's got a higher power level, maybe its name is Counterspell maybe it's a card that means a lot to you personally, who knows?" Its probably true that Mind Sculptor is better than Bolas, and Black Lotus is better than Scion, but I think that Scion of the Ur-Dragon and Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker are more fun and flavorful than cards that turn the game into who has the biggest wallet. That's why I cast my vote for Bolas and Scion, and everyone else can determine their own reasons. That's the point of the whole series.

The Alpha Duals are here for a reason, Bob's here 'cause one guy won a thing a time. Dual Lands all the way.
Demonic Tutor is one more mana, and must be played on your own turn. Even I don't think it can stand up to a single-mana three card instant-speed draw. Ancestral Recall gets my vote.
Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker gets the nod here, as Necropotence is an Enchantment with a single, if powerful, effect, where the elder dragon reigns supreme with three big hits.
I don't want to be that guy who abandons ship, but every time I've voted against Black Lotus , it has won against my preferred choice. So here, I vote FOR it, hoping against hope that our hero can squeak out a win.
....That's a big fat lie, of course. My vote is for muhfuggin' Scion of the Ur-Dragon !!!
