Hello all!
Spooty here to remind you that episode 2 of mine and EAK1791's MTG-related podcast will be going live on Twitch around Noon (12 PM) EST, December 5th. Come and join us as we discuss the many Do's and Don't in regards to buying Magic the Gathering products for someone as a gift for the holidays.
Are YOU a bad gift-giver?? I guess we will see...
@Spootyone - I actually have the same issue with working. Do you have a YouTube acct. you upload the completed podcast to when finished so that I may view/listen to it in my free time? Similar to the Command Zone or Dies to Removal?

Scytec: Yep! You can go to this link For the VoDs after Eric uploads them, OR you can go to many different podcast sharing sites - specifically this one for my version, which is the edited audio-only version. Enjoy!

Mind if I offer some constructive criticism?
First off, Im not sure if you guys do a bit of a pre-cast rundown with each other, but if not I think it would be a good idea. Write out your topics in bullet point or something and go over it with each other before hand. That should save a bit of time, as you guys spend a fair bit of time talking about what you are going to talk about.
Have your tabs already open and ready to go, in this and the last one you guys spent a fair bit getting your info sharing/websites up and running that could be used more productively.
'Crackin packs', some ideas, it doesnt help the listeners to hear all the card names, and you talk about the card, but dont actually describe what the card stats/abilities are for many of them. Also, why talk about the junk cards? Why do we want to hear about the worst, never to be played, instantly-into-the-garbage commons? We are not going to play them, or play against them, so pretty much any and all information that you may talk about the card are pretty much just moot points.
Card names. Its good to know what the cards are that you are thinking of, like Edgewalker in this episode, and there was another one in Ep.1. Helps us the listener know what you are reffering to, besides 'you know, that guy, whats his name' comes off a bit unprofessional and unprepared. Or have your search engine up and running, and as you are talking about the card, be looking up its name to tell us afterwards.
Topic length and priority. Some subjects probably do not warrent quite as much time as you give them. For example, the topic of buying holiday boxes, good info and warning, and many good reasonings, but between both of you you spent about 4 minutes just talking about how the box is crappily made(just the box, not the other detractors). One or two mentions about this would probably have been fine, but such a long rant is a bit overkill.
Applicable information: Much of the info about buying presents seemed directed towards people who dont play magic, or dont play magic much, and these people will be unlikely to be listening through an hour long podcast, or to search out your podcast in the first place. So a lot of that info probably does not need to be said. For example "If you do a google search on a product, you will find a review on it", ummm, thanks tips :P Im pretty sure if some one searched out your podcast, thay are internet savy enough to look up a product :)
Anyway, I hope some of this will help smooth out some of the kinks and streamline it a bit. If not, oh well. Keep up the good work :)

RoarMaster : Don't have time at the moment to give this a sizable, worthy response, but do know that it has been read by both me and Eric and we are both taking it to heart. Thank you very much for being honest <3
