Statistics

Let’s break down the color trends:

In just two rounds’ time, White has gone from being 25% of the field to a tiny fraction. Blue and Red (due in part to U/R Prowess’s inherent strength) have firmly remained. Even CaptainLick’s all-Wastes deck has stood the test of time so far (the only "Colorless" deck). Archetype-wise, we’re seeing many of the control decks stick it out as some of the more "gimmicky" aggro decks (i.e. Allies) have really fallen by the wayside. Where will we be by the end of the fourth round?

Round 4’s Matches

Just one round remains before the Round Robin bracket featuring the Top 7 decks!

tempest vs. Mortem
Boza vs. DarkLaw
Nightdragon779 vs. amerishin
TheDeckBuilder_mage vs. tpmains
eludemerlange vs. Nobueno95
DruneGrey vs. CaptainLick
Wee_Dragonaut vs. CRKFIEND

Happy tapping, players!

"With enough removal to destroy half the guilds of Ravnica..." Oh, you flatter me.

Bad luck, Volvary. It looks like I got one of my good draws from an inconsistent deck.

Good luck, Boza.

Figured this round would be my demise, my deck had too many one situation cards.

I'm rooting for Nobueno95 now, closest deck to my entry. GL!

PhnxLdr Wow, sort of surprised I won. I thought you're card draw would make the mirror much harder for me. Good Games!

June 4, 2016 4:11 p.m.

Congrats Wee_Dragonaut! Very well played, and I am super excited for you.

But, with my defeat comes a hefty price... you have to go on to trounce everybody else! You must rise to the top and feel the squirm of your enemies as you crush them in your cold, dark clutches!!!

:D

... did I say that out loud...

In all seriousness, I will definitely be rooting for you all the way! Good luck, and congratulations once again!

This is turning out much better than expected. I honestly thought I would lose this one, given the amount of value ThoughtShift generates. Great games and great write up!

Good luck to all ahead!

@Tulse GGs! I wasnt sure how our games would play out i figured i had to get heavy aggression on before you got to your plated crushers online since my deck cant deal with that creature profitably at all (plaguewind me essentially). I look forward to playing against you in further challenges!

Schlatre: I have to admit feeling pretty lucky. Not long after hitting submit I realized that UR Prowess was possible and felt that I had over looked something.

So I'm super late to this party - partly cause I don't check the articles often enough, but this is a really awesome bracket zandl.

Looking forward to the finals and the next one. I may even participate. I have a friend who's an ingenious deck builder as well. May see if he'll do it.

GGs amerishin, as zandl pointed out my luck ran out here and I finally got crushed by the better deck. This challenge was great fun, I'm looking forward to the next one. Good luck to you in the next round!
