VietMoneys on Help: Budgetish -1/-1 counter deck

Good start! I think 39 lands is a bit high considering all of the great sorcery-speed ramp in this deck. Green has an advantage in EDH in its ability to break parity in putting lands into play, because most people don't run ways of punishing that strategy. This means you could probably cut some of the slower artifact ramp too (Manalith, Worn Powerstone, etc.) Someone at your store could probably kick you down a Sol Ring, which is a must have in 99% of EDH decks.

My best advice would be to distill one or two major objectives for this deck. You've got tons of great -1/-1 counter synergy in here, but you can't win games with counters. Triumph of the Hordes, Coat of Arms, Akroma's Memorial, or Craterhoof Behemoth would all be great bombs to drop late game to make your little snake army into a game-winning force. If you don't want to necessarily win with combat damage, has a lot of great ways to cash in tokens for back-breaking effects like Ashnod's Altar + Grave Pact .

Good luck, and welcome to the wonderful world of EDH!
