Brood Butcher and Ruthless Deathfang can be slow, it might be better to take out blue and replace those cards with things like Brood Monitor.

With Brood Monitor + Eldrazi Displacer + Zulaport Cutthroat you can have infinite scion tokens and which you can just sacrifice to hurt your opponent.

This is my first attempt at a deck-building challenge, so here goes!

The Abzan Company Deck attempts to go infinite with Brood Monitor + Eldrazi Displacer + Zulaport Cutthroat , while the Izzet Deck tries to hold off the opponent. There is some cross-deck synergy with Eldrazi Displacer + Thing in the Ice , significantly reducing the clock on Thing in the Ice  Flip.

These decks do not share colors in order to maximize efficiency.

The two decks can shift power between each other. Though the Abzan deck will do most of the hitting, as it often goes wide with its creatures, the Izzet deck can pack a punch late game as well with Rise from the Tides and Thing in the Ice  Flip.

I've been having some fun with new deck ideas! My brain just won't turn it off lol.

Abzan Token Crush is an interesting play on the Brood Monitor + Eldrazi Displacer + Zulaport Cutthroat infinite combo. Mine's not infinite, but just as lethal.

Temur Company is a CoCo deck in Temur... just for fun.

Sphinx Mill has a number of changes, so I'm hoping to try him out again now.

Brooding Cutthroat is an infinite combo deck that is running around that I wanted to try making a version of.

Viral_Assassin it involves Brood Monitor + Eldrazi Displacer + Zulaport Cutthroat .

If you notice with Brood Monitor, for 6 mana, you get 3 Eldrazi scions that can be sacrificed for 1 Colorless.

This is just enough mana so that you can activate the effect of Eldrazi Displacer by sacrificing all 3 Eldrazi scions to cause Brood Monitor to re-enter the battlefield since it becomes exiled immediately and enters now tapped. So you get 3 more scions.

Now with Zulaport Cutthroat, it's effect reads whenever it or another creature you control dies, (in this case the 3 scion tokens) each opponent loses 1 life and you gain 1.

In summary the 3 eldrazi scions give you enough mana when sacrificed to allow you to make the Brood Monitor be able to keep entering the battlefield and by them dying it triggers the ability of Zulaport Cutthroat.

add the infinite combo of Brood Monitor + Eldrazi Displacer + Zulaport Cutthroat . It is OP as uc, because the eldrazi scions, cast by Brood Monitor, give you the colorless mana to use Eldrazi Displacer's ability and sacrificing counts as the sac.ed creature dying, letting Zulaport Cutthroat's ability kick in.

Boom

the opponent done dead.

I'm running it right now. Brood Monitor + Eldrazi Displacer + Zulaport Cutthroat = infinite loss of life for you, as we sac three scions for mana to trigger the displacer's ability, which bounces Brood Monitor, creating three more scions to sac and repeat. All these shenanigans of course occur with Zulaport Cutthroat on the field. Game over.

I run Evolutionary Leap however, to as close to ensure as possible that I hit the combo on turn 6 or 7

Didn't pull anything spectacular in either prerelease, but I've just got to point out some useful and surprisingly strong cards:

Eldrazi Displacer single-handedly won games for me and made me go 3-0-1. Tapping down big-bads like Ulamog, Kozilek, and Bane of Bala Ged, retriggering the Brood Monitor, allies, and support creatures on my field, blinking out any blockers in front of my creatures with trample, and protecting my own. That guy puts in WORK. I pulled 3 in both prereleases and traded for a 4th, and I'm well on my way to the Brood Monitor + Eldrazi Displacer + Zulaport Cutthroat combo deck. :3

Nissa's Judgment was super helpful in the 2nd prerelease. My card pool had a lot of access to spells that care about, gain, or give +1/+1 counters, so every time I cast it, I was guaranteed removal. The Standard deck I have (monogreen counters) sorely needed removal, so 2 more of these and I'm set!

Seer's Lantern helped me outrace my opponents in late-game top decks, would have been 6 turns before I got my Steppe Glider to push the last few points of damage in. I got it down to 3.

Kor Scythemaster lives up to his name. Instant speed buffs turned I'm into removal with legs.

What are some cards that helped you guys out of a jam?
