A good argument could be made for Misthollow Griffin. I don't include it because its a suboptimal draw outside the combo. At a 4 drop it has stiff competition for a slot. This deck is aiming for maximum effiency, which means every card must have multiple roles within the deck.

For redundancy for scourge I currently use Birthing Pod, Fauna Shaman, Eladamri's Call, Drift of Phantasms, Worldly Tutor, and Eldritch Evolution.

An etb or tap to kill the table creature is also a good idea. I used Cyclonic Rift + Shaman of Forgotten Ways as a compact combo. I have also used Laboratory Maniac which is very good but a relatively dead draw outside the combo.
