Read Tallowisp, but I don't disagree with your general idea. This deck wins by playing Geist of Saint Traft + Steel of the Godhead , then we recur spirits or pseudo-Collected Company them out. I do really well against other creature decks and extremely poorly against 1-to-1 removal which is why Rattlechains will help, it will additionally help my curve.
