You should definitely trade Thallid for Utopia Mycon. Its the same cost, you would never really use the Thallid's one attack to any real effect, and you can sacrifice saproling tokens for extra mana. If you have Gilder Bairn + Paradise Mantle out, two unused mana and you can get your Utopia Mycon to seven spore counters (which isn't too hard with Paradox Haze and Gilder Bairn) you have an infinite creature combo.

Tap Gilder Bairn + Paradise Mantle then use his ability to double the counters on Utopia Mycon so its at 14. remove six counters from Utopia Mycon (leaving him with 8) to get two saprolings. Sacrifice them for two mana, tap Gilder Bairn + Paradise Mantle , use that three mana to trigger Gilder Bairn's ability and double the tokens on Utopia Mycon. You can do this combo infinitely, each time Utopia Mycon will be left with more counters, which you can turn into infinite saproling tokens. If you have an Essence Warden out this will also give you infinite life.

This seems to be why you have Life and Limb in this deck, but this way you need one less card and much less mana to pull off.

Works Well Together:

Melira, Sylvok Outcast + Puppeteer Clique

Gilder Bairn + Multani's Harmony OR Earthcraft + Gilder Bairn OR Gilder Bairn + Paradise Mantle

Gilder Bairn + Paradise Mantle + Wickerbough Elder
