While I'm familiar with many of the pathways of Blood Pod, one interaction I'm not familiar with is this one:
Goblin Sharpshooter + Splinter Twin + any x/1
Does this only kill the board of X/1's (like mana dorks), or does it actually combo kill the table?
Here's how I see it working...
-
Copy Sharpshooter via Splinter Twin.
-
Have new Sharpshooter ping the X/1. SBA's happen, X/1 dies, untap all Sharpshooters.
-
In response to Untap trigger, ping all opponents with any untapped Sharpshooters.
-
Rinse and repeat for X Goblin Sharpshooters where X is the number of X/1's on the field at the time of the combo.
Do I have that right?
If it does combo kill the table, and not just all mana dorks, I'd be curious to see how that happens. The way I see it, this interaction is only limited to the number of X/1's on the field.

To clarify: For Goblin Sharpshooter + Splinter Twin to work, you need 1 other X/1 in play on either side (I'd recommend running 2 Forbidden Orchard ):
- Twin on Sharpshooter, make a Sharpshooter, shoot the other X/1, untap both twins
- Make a Sharpshooter, shoot 1 on enemy with the second sharpshooter, have third sharpshooter shoot itself, untap 2 sharpshooters
- repeat 2 at will

1empyrean,
It's been a while since I've looked at the deck ... very cool seeing how it"s evolved!
A quick (and potentially stupid) question: How does Goblin Sharpshooter + Splinter Twin work? I can see mowing down a wall of */1s with it, but how does it go infinite?
