A13X8077 on Mizzix of the Izswagnus -EDH

The deck looks nice, but I would say the deck doesn't have enough large-spell payoffs, especially for the amount of ramp cards being run. Mizzix herself works as ramp, and again to get the best use out of her its good to run high-cost or x-cost spells (They are your best friend in this deck!) I have also found that with her cost reduction in effect, it's almost better to run "inefficient" versions of cards that have bonus effects tagged on, like you have with Tezzeret's Gambit. In terms of win-cons, you have some fantastic ones, x-cost burn does brilliantly, Guttersnipe + Rite of Replication is nuts, and is usually an insta-win across the whole table, Rise from the Tides produces an UNREAL amount of zombies usually. I would suggest stocking up on x cost burn such as Fall of the Titans, and along similar lines, if you are able to pick up a Pyromancer's Goggles for the deck, it helps so so much, though I understand it recently went up in price due to being standard-playable. Other cards that work amazingly in the deck, but are not win-cons in themselves: Charmbreaker Devils comes in the precon and is brilliant recursion for your spells. Future Sight generates an unholy amount of card advantage. X-cost counterspells like Condescend and Spell Burst are cheap to pick up and help give you much needed protection and board control. Lastly, make sure sure your mana base can produce coloured mana easily, and in the correct proportions. You'll quickly find that most spells get reduced to just their coloured cost. The easiest way to fix it is to simply adjust the basics. If you have any questions, I'm happy to answer them, I have been playing and altering my mizzix deck ( Mizzix of the Explosiveness ) since Commander 2015 came out.
