HobbyGamer007 I appreciate the comment. Actually just before posting this deck build I made the decision to switch Fauna Shaman for Gauntlet of Power. I do run Worldly Tutor but decided against cards like Fauna Shaman, Survival of the Fittest, or Natural Order because I've got a hard time getting rid of cards. It's something I'm in great debate about, it's nice to be able to tutor for a specific situation or board state but it's hard for me to discard anything since I feel like every creature has some sort of usefulness.

I noticed the Immaculate Magistrate + Joraga Warcaller combo a while ago but forgot, makes me definitely not wanna get rid of Immaculate Magistrate. I'm almost about 100% sure I'll be switching Resuscitate for Heroic Intervention because it's just a lot better

Thanks, LeonDaniels. I had a lot of fun with it this week, and won a Planechase EDH game. Didn't realize until I played that Animation Module + Champion of Lambholt is a combo that works as long as you have mana... and this deck generates a lot of mana. Right now I've got Gaea's Blessing in instead of Garruk's Companion because of a Lazav Mill deck in my meta. Missed the trample, though. Finisher was Immaculate Magistrate + Joraga Warcaller plus Greatbow Doyen + Jagged-Scar Archers . Plus Seeker of Skybreak to kill more than 1 opponent in one turn. Thanks to that plane that dumped my entire graveyard back on the battlefield. Mwahaha.

I agree with Boza, don't worry about the sets. If you want to improve your Duel Deck, look for cards that would do the things you want your deck to do. Elves deck? Look for some awesome elves, like Immaculate Magistrate + Joraga Warcaller or Ezuri, Renegade Leader or Elvish Archdruid. Or upgrade the Divine deck with stuff like Seraph Sanctuary, Staff of the Sun Magus, Kor Cartographer or Angelic Skirmisher. Or switch the focus to lifegain and add in a bunch of Angelic Accord. Where do you find out about these cards? Gatherer database. Or by surfing other people's decks on tapped out. Even don't be afraid to check out EDH/Commander decks, since the singelton format means they'll use a lot more different cards.

Great. Thanks.

Hunger of the Howlpack could play if I threw in an Immaculate Magistrate + Joraga Warcaller .

I definitely looked at Young Wolf but in a Ghave, Guru of Spores deck.

guttergrime is an interesting fail-safe plan here. Builds tokens and builds big.

Jar of Eyeballs is similar to Viscera Seer, but I like the added bonus of the draw.

I like Hex Parasite's versatility. But Melira, Sylvok Outcast seems to outshine it.

Jinxed Idol is a great "haha" card. Just to annoy the opponent. The "hot potato" games could be a lot of fun.

I wanted to keep it elf-based, as much as I could. I'd like to fit Jinxed Idol in maybe.

Also, there's Blasting Station. I might replace Ashnod's Altar with that.

Thanks!

Elves is kind of a big thing right now. I have a couple of friends that play elf decks. Usually there are a lot more lords. Ezuri, Renegade Leader and Dwynen, Gilt-Leaf Daen are other elf lords. Also - Immaculate Magistrate + Joraga Warcaller combo. Planeswalkers Nissa Revane & Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury (assuming you're playing casual). Elvish Guidance can be fun, especially if you're running Arbor Elf. You might also look at things that allow you to untap during opponent's turns like Quest for Renewal. Yeva, Nature's Herald would allow you to flash stuff in during their turns. Imperious Perfect if you need more elves. Essence Warden for more life gain. Hope that gives you some options!
