I honestly find "fair stax" a tad oxymoron (I'm assuming you know what stax is, so I won't bother explaining it), but here's some advice:

• Any of the Praetors: Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Sheoldred, Whispering One and Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger

• Bitterblossom and/or Contamination (super mean, Ophiomancer, which I noticed you have, can be swapped in for Bitterblossom)

• Also, tutors, tutors, tutors. But I understand if you choose to not use them

• Rule of Law

• Mycosynth Lattice + Null Rod shuts down the entire game pretty much

Just some staxy options off the top of my head. I understand that some of these are for sure non-budget, being a budget player myself. Hope these suggestions help!

Or just play Knowledge Pool + Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir to lock everyone else. ;)
