You're in the colors to use the Tree of Perdition + Turn to Frog combo, not to mention Frog is a great way to deal with pesky creatures. With the Demonic Pact out, end of their turn tap the tree, in response Turn to Frog. Now their life total is 1 and you choose to deal 4 damage to target player.

Tree of Perdition + Turn to Frog doesn't work because Turn to Frog says the creature loses all abilities.

Hmm, just thought of another combo: How about Tree of Perdition + Turn to Frog ? I think that would work if you activated the tree's ability first, then turned it to a frog with that on the stack.
