This is Commander cube! It's exactly what it sounds like - EDH in a cube.

Basically, you start the draft by drafting one booster of commanders (the size of the booster is around 5). We have been playing with a house rule, that gives each Legendary Creature (and Planeswalker, if they are allowed to be played as a commander) the keyword Partner. This eases up deck building (you get more colours so you don't have to build a 100 card deck from 2-3 colours) and gives way more interesting interactions.

After the commander booster, you draft 8-10 boosters depending on the amount of players in the draft. If you have 6-8 players, you use 8 boosters. If you have 4-5 players, you use 10 and "exile" the last 3 cards of each booster (these both result in the same total draft pool of 120 cards). You do this to reduce the redundancy in the boosters, since the same booster comes back to you multiple times.

I have organized the cards in custom categories, according to color identity. Makes it easier to look at due to cards such as Nihil Spellbomb (which is a colorless spell, but in EDH you can't play it in non-black decks because of the in the text box). Commanders are under category "Commanderu", because for some reason Tappedout shows them as images instead of a list otherwise.

My cube is under constant update and it will keep shifting in the future as well. I have just resently reached 1100+ cards (which is kind of the requirement to get a decent 8 player draft) without using too many filler cards. I know that the colour balance is a bit off, but I'll try to fix it in the future when I get more cards to the colours I have troubles with (red and white). Although, people seem to have more interest in , and interactions. seems to flood the boosters even though there is 50 cards less than . I might even keep the colour balance like this. Who knows.

Few of the cards I'm playing here have been banned in EDH, but in a limited format they lack the power for which they were banned in constructed. Also, having Moxes is the best way to balance Sol Ring and Mana Crypt, for example. I have also made a few of my own cards with a few friends of mine, which I sadly can't upload here.

If you have any suggestions or comments, please leave feedback. All ideas are very appreciated. I'd also be more than happy to help and answer any questions about EDH cube building.
