Description

This is my first cube. Although it has gone through many iterations, I am finally happy with where it is at now.

I decided to make a 450 card cube so that when drafting with 8 players, there isn't any feeling of solving the cube. Sometimes cards will show up, other times they'll be left out. Honestly though I expect this to be grid drafted more often than not, and that may affect future decisions.

I love the pauper format, but in my early version of the cube, I found that some of the Eternal cards were just way more powerful than their Modern counterparts, and warped the draft around them, that is why this became a "Modern" cube.

After many changes and draft sessions I found that some of the archetypes I wanted in the cube just weren't supported well enough and some color combinations just felt weaker. This is when I decided to break my Modern only rule, and allow cards that have been reprinted at common in a "Modern" frame. These changes seem to have balanced out the issues I was having before, without introducing some of the more unfair cards of Eternal.

The last thing of note, is that I intend for the packs of this cube to be seeded with a single multicolor card and land. These are to signal a little bit of the strategies available for each color. I have decided to have another card for each "guild" as a single color card with an off color activation. These are meant to be enjoyed in a mono color deck but better in the corresponding combination, and are not included in the multicolor section.

I invite you to please draft and/or leave comments or suggestions, so that I can make this the best pauper cube I can.
