What is duplicate sealed?
Basic Overview.
This is a duplicate sealed pool of 100 cards from BFZ block.
17 cards of each color, 5 gold cards, and 10 colorless cards.
Color themes.
White. Allies, awaken, go-wide/aggro.
Blue. Devoid/Ingest, Awaken, control elements.
Black. Devoid/Ingest, Allies, removal, control elements.
Red. Allies, go-wide/aggro, Devoid.
Green. Ramp, Eldrazi Scions, go-wide/midrange, flyer hate, enchantment removal
Overarching themes.
Removal tends to be sorcery-speed and conditional.
Most cards should be splashable to enable creativity.
Color fixing, enchantment hate, and flyer hate is reserved for green.
I tried to choose cards to preserve flavor of BFZ.
Neither Landfall nor Converge make an appearance. I just thought they weren't strong enough and a bit linear. Maybe in the BFZ expansion, we will see some more emphasis on this.
There is a sacrifice theme in Green/Black.
There is a lifegain matters theme in Black/White.
Price Restriction.
This is a budget project based on wanting something to do with my used limited pools. As such, there is nothing in this pool worth more than $2.00 at the time of creation.
