Description

This is a casual commander cube I have been working on for many months now. I've had a lot of fun with it so far, and the cube philosophy is fairly simple. 1: No one plays solitaire (No one player takes super long turns or has potent disruptive pieces that ruin a strategy). 2: Big dumb stuff/win through combat (There are plenty of spells that will help you, but ultimately I want combat to be the main way to win). These rules take combo decks off the table, but I have tried to add lots of synergy and card draw, so good, fun decks are still here to be drafted. (Note: I know of 1 infinite in this cube, but it requires 3 cards and a planeswalker to stick on the battlefield, so I am no too concerned about it. 2/25/22 update: Medomai can also go infinite with something like conjurer's closet. I am more scared of this, but will wait to see if it is that broken in practice.)

A lot of standard archetypes are in here. The ones I have intentionally built in are tokens, graveyard/sacrifice, counters, lifegain, dragon tribal, wheels, equipment, and legendary spells matter. In addition, there are plenty of copy/steal spells in the cube. In the future I want to add more tribal elements, wizards or zombies are likely the first ones I will add.

Also this cube is drafted with 20 card packs and 2 cards are picked each pick, I found it creates more well rounded decks and speeds up drafting a little bit. I don't think tappedout lets me put more than 15 cards in a pack so sample drafting here will be a little incomplete. Ultimately, you will draft 60 cards and use basic lands to create a 60 card deck. The nephilims and planeswalkers can be your commander as well.

Also a note: The fetches/shocks/duals are proxied in this cube. I don't have the spare cash to pay for them, and I wanted good color fixing so playing more colors doesn't hard punish you. Feel free to leave comments or suggestions, I am open to adding to/improving this cube in any way.
