Description

This is a commander cube. The idea of the cube is that you draft 4 packs of 15 cards per pack through an 8 person draft, and then build a deck with the following specifications.

You deck must consist of at least 50 cards, not including a commander.
Your deck may have a commander if you would like it to. A commander must be a legendary creature. It doesn't have to follow any rules of color identity. For example, you can have Talrand, Sky Summoner at the helm of a grixis control deck if you want. That's allowed.
You may choose to not have a commander. It's your loss if you choose this option, but it is technically possible that you didn't draft any legendary creatures.

After you build your deck, 8 people split off into two pods of 4 people each to play. Games are played starting at 25 life. And that's basically it.

So let's talk about power level. The power level of this cube isn't as strong as commander. You will not find a Sol Ring or a Command Tower here. The following are things I tried to mostly avoid when putting the cube together.

Tutors. There are some tutors in here, but very few, and very limited tutors. This includes Jarad's Orders, Inventors' Fair, Tamiyo's Journal, and the list ends pretty soon there.
Non-green mana ramp. I'm really trying to avoid non-green decks getting too far ahead on mana in the early game. It doesn't make sense for a grixis deck to out-ramp a green deck. It just doesn't. You won't find any of those here.
Mana doublers. You will not find anything like Caged Sun here. I have purposely avoided cards that double your available mana like the plague. I did however include an Azor's Gateway ^Flip which can be a huge boost to your mana potentially, but not in the uninteresting way of simply doubling mana.
Ridiculous bomb drops. I'm okay with playing a bomb drop, but not Expropriate. Not Clone Legion. Not Rise of the Dark Realms. Instead, you'll find cards like Ghastly Conscription, The Immortal Sun, Archfiend of Despair. That's the kind of power level I'm looking for in bomb drops. Something that's clearly strong, but not so strong that your opponents always abandon all hope of winning.
Wraths that are too good. There's no Terminus, Supreme Verdict, Damnation, Toxic Deluge, or Wrath of God in this cube. Instead, you will find Languish, Rout, Fumigate, and Blasphemous Act.

Things I'm trying to focus on.

Artifacts matter.
Lands matter.
Planeswalkers are abundant. They encompass about 5-7% of the cube. Purposefully not including Jace, the Mind Sculptor, Ugin, the Spirit Dragon, or other planeswalkers that I feel like might be too strong.
Value oriented. In order to make games grindy, I made sure to put plenty of value oriented cards in this cube so that there's plenty of opportunity to draw a card or two. It keeps the games rolling and makes for pretty interesting and grindy ones at that. If a game ends too early, I want tend to analyze why and start adding cards to cutting board pretty quickly.
Tokens matter. This is a dangerous one to implement, but you'll find that, in this cube, tokens are abundant. As well, it can be very enticing to go wide with your attack strategy with all the +1/+1 to your whole team sort of a effects.

There are some other themes going on, and I encourage you to check them out! This cube has been hella fun to play, and definitely the most fair cube I feel like I've ever played with.
