Feel free to rip ideas from my Cube listed as Drakes Cube. I went the more RPG experience route. Ideally, it's like the players are in Skyrim (or another RPG). Obviously, aesthetics are huge and I'm in the process of altering the cards to suit the experience.

I don't play skyrim but would Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund work? It fits the dragons theme.

Monsmtg, he fits very well if you think of him as a sort of Alduin. I don't use many dragons in mine because I usually avoid the main questline and that's how dragons spawn. So, I don't see dragons often. (Well, living ones anyway...)

Level up cards can certainly fit the theme, Venerated Teacher representing the trainers around Skyrim. Allies represent hirelings, obviously you have to have many dragons, equipment matter themes and stuff.
