Description

My first attempt at making a horror themed Cube, because the night is dark and full of terrors.

Story:

Something dark has infected the plane of Innistrad. Avacyn and the church has abandoned their followers and now the terrors in the night have dominion over the humans. Where there was once a balance of light and dark, there is now only darkness.

The monsters of Innistrad delve out terror and destruction. With fewer humans to prey upon, the werewolves, vampires and ghouls have even begun fighting among each other. Little do they know though, that there is a terror beyond imagination waiting for them in the deepest darkest pits of the world.

The Eldrazi, who were once thought to have been purged, have begun emerging from the shadows. Though Emrakul is still imprisoned, it has found a way to exert its influence upon Innistrad. The Eldrazi do not seek followers nor do they take prisoners. There is no army of the undead they seek to build, no, their only goal is destruction and doom.

Liliana Vess, on a mission to hone her skills at necromancy, and Chandra Nalaar who came along for the show, have traveled to Innistrad only to step into a world on the brink of destruction. Liliana's undead army along with the might of the Gatewatch was once enough to stop the Eldrazi plague, but without the Gatewatch it is uncertain if they will be strong enough to repel the Eldrazi hordes.

Unknown to Liliana and Chandra, they may have assistance from an unlikely source. Vraska and Huatli who formed an unlikely friendship, have taken to travelling the verse together. They have stumbled upon Innistrad in an attempt to find a private getaway, though this might not be the type of vacation they had in mind.

Will the inhabitants of Innistrad, monsters and humans alike, unite to fight this terror, or will the Eldrazi succeed in bringing about their terrible fate for what remains of this plane?
