Description

This cube is designed to be draft-able like a really great set of magic. 10 2-color strategies which can be deduced from the rares in the set. There are also 3-color creatures, specifically the cycle from Khans that break these rules and encourage strategy cross-over. Players should not be punished for going deep or coloring outside of the lines.

Typical draft traps like vanilla 1/1s for 1 or creature enchantments are at a minimum.

Although the themes are not all strictly "classic" guild styles, I do have them organized this way.

Azorius: Tap Bounce Control Dimir: Evasion (Flying, Unblockable and Intimidate)
Rakdos: Suicide Aggro
Gruul: Ramp/Fatties
Selesnya: Tokens
Orzhov: Life gain / Life Drain
Izzet: Burn / Instant & Sorcery abuse
Golgari: Saccing and Graveyard Shenanigans
Boros: Equipment and combat
Simic: +1/+1 counters

Each pack should include a land card (of any rarity), 2 rares, 5 uncommons and 7 commons. Because of the way T/O generates packs it is currently impossible to force every pack to be balanced. IRL I randomize the cards by rarity and then build the packs for each time we use it. This methodology is not for the lazy, but it allows a much wider range of power-level between cards as well as allowing me to be very surgical in my edits if a particular 'guild' is found to be too powerful or too weak.

The cube might lean a little bit too far towards aggro. I am looking to correct this, specifically to improve sealed play.
