Since getting into MTG I've been awfully keen on running an -1/-1 R/B counter deck. After seeing Angrath, Minotaur Pirate I'm keeping fingers crossed that we'll see standard shake-up ( this is beyond hopeful, I know).

So the way this deck works is by slamming opponent's creatures with -1/-1 counters and to get Wildfire Eternal attacking unblocked to throw some life-damaging instants and sorceries.

Some synergy-combos like Ammit Eternal and Insult / Injury, Key to the City and Wildfire Eternal could really change the game and give opponents something to worry about.

Some cards are in here to combat standard metagame (Abrade over Lightning Strike) but there are definitely gaps missing.

I'm unsure if I have enough mana (or too much) and if I want to (or even if I should) squeeze in Sunscorched Desert and Ramunap Ruins. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm looking to take this to FNM (on the 29th) to see how it stacks up and to see how it plays against other decks.
