I wouldn't exactly call $145 budget... But I like it!

I got these cards for under 100 and that (in modern) is budget build. But after playing with this deck for about six or so months now I have grown fond of it.So a little at time I'm starting to debudget the deck. My first goal is to make the manabase more consistent and refined. I recently bought a playset of Steam Vents and my next target is a playset of Scalding Tarn.I am going to wait for modern masters 2 however.

Under 300 is for COMPETITIVE modern. For casual modern (not this deck obviously), it's not over 100.

Okay sure, but modern is a competitive format. Any top tier decks cost money. Casual, kitchen table magic, sure 100 is budget.

Depends, but let's not have this argument. The point is that 500 bucks for a MTG deck is NOT budget.
