I'll skip the basic primer for Tron and G/W tron in particular other people have done that well already. Instead I'll focus on the unique aspects of this deck.
Old Commentary on card selection (most of this is still relevant, but the card mentioned are no longer featured in the current Version of the deck. Show
1) All Is Dust over Oblivion Stone, All Is Dust is far far better against Collected Company decks, which there has been a resurgence of recently (It's faster, and hits Rhonas the Indomitable, and blanks Selfless Spirit). Additionally All Is Dust costs 1 less mana, which is actually huge in terms of the time from finding it to being able to cast it, and quicker removal is better against decks like Death's Shadow Grixis and Jund. Finally, All Is Dust triggers Sanctum of Ugin, and is immune to Stony Silence and other artifact hare. It is worth noting that Oblivion Stone is strictly better against Eldrazi-Tron, and Affinity. For Eldrazi-Tron, however, Your other haymakers are more than sufficient, and against Affinity there is some special sideboard tech...
It's not useful against burn, but for that we have...
4) Sacred Ground You don't usually need these, but against decks like Living End, and U/W control, they often focus a lot on trying to beat you by denying your mana, and Sacred Ground will crush those dreams. Only 2 copies though because land destruction still isn't that common, and generally you would rather have a turn 3 karn than a turn 2 land protection spell.
5) Emrakul, the Aeons Torn Because F*** counterspells, that's why. Honestly though, nothing feels better than guaranteeing free wins against control decks by boarding in this card. There's just nothing most control decks can do against this card.
1) Kataki, War's Wage out of the sideboard. In the place of 2 Nature's Claim, he far more useful against affinity, and other random artifact based decks like Tezzerator or Lantern Control. If you're running white there's no reason not to run better hate cards out of the board, and unlike Stony Silence Kataki doesn't really affect you since most of your artifacts you plan on sacking anyway, and you have plenty of mana to pay the upkeep.
2) Platinum Emperion Sideboard tech against burn, it folds to Destructive Revelry but outside of that, they literally can't win against his card, and it's tutorable via Sanctum of Ugin. Additionally this is just generally a better Platinum Angel against decks like Ad-Nauseum and Storm. It's worse than Platinum Angel against Infect, but you just really don't see much of that deck anymore now that Gitaxian Probe is banned and Fatal Push is a card.
3) Batterskull in the main, it's basically the third and fourth Wurmcoil Engine except it's castable when you don't have tron online. Once tron is online this card gives Midrange and control a real hard time, as you can bounce and replay it every turn for just 8 mana, and it makes Path to Exile seem like a joke. It also is the icing on the cake, when you attach it to one of your big finishers, vigilance and lifelink is no joke. Makes Kolagahn's Command better though, which is unfortunate.
4) Kozilek, Butcher of Truth having graveyard shuffling effects main, makes the Lantern Control matchup even easier, not to mention any random fringe mill decks you might encounter. Usually not my first choice to tutor as a Haymaker, but sometimes you really just need the annihilator triggers, and drawing 4 cards can be huge in grindy matchups. Death Shadow Jund and Grixis rely heavily on their discard spells to stop you, and Kozilek negates those spells wonderfully. Essentially, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth is your finisher against grindy decks, and decks that go so wide, Ulamog, the ceaceless hunger's 2 exiles aren't enough (which can be the case against decks like affinity).
5) Sundering Titan mainboard is to deal with the Death's Shadow decks first and foremost. They are typically light on lands, and you can knock them out of the game by hitting 3 with the titan. Additionally the card is a beating against Coco Decks (Living End decks if you still encounter those), and any random 4+ color decks, like humans (or 4c Saheeli decks if you still encounter those). Also worth noting that if you can cast it, this is an all-star against Storm (if they have basics), since they can't really handle being set two lands.
6) Porphyry Nodes Good against any aggro or go wide creature deck. Even if it only destroys 1 creature, if it delays an opponent from playing creatures, its a great card, since every turn you're still alive is another turn closer to winning when you're playing Tron.
