So I went 3-1 at a FNM with this deck. Not this particular build, but something very similar. After the tournament I decided to take out the one Godsend I had in and replaced it with Monastery Mentor, also I cut one of my Jeskai Sage's for a mainboard Drown in Sorrow. And I decided to take out Prognostic Sphinx for a Wingmate Roc. I think the life gain is more essential and 2 creatures for 1 is just awesome.

I've been playing Esper Control and the fact that i'm seeing less people running it over UB Control made me want to attempt a different spin on Esper. I wanted to make a midrange/tempo deck. My inspiration comes from Abzan midrange. Obviously losing green is hard, but I feel this deck makes up for it with blue. It still needs work, i'm still playing around with different things and moving numbers around. The land seems pretty good, it's tempting to throw in one Mana Confluence, but I feel its not needed. I like the 7 fetches for Tasigur, the Golden Fang, being able to potentially play him on turn 3 is amazing. Not sure about Ajani Steadfast I feel he pairs nicely with the amount of planeswalkers i'm running, also I like him with Jeskai Sage, and I simply felt like I needed more solid 4 drops.
