Tasigur...In Modern!?!

Modern

So I have been trying to make 8 rack a bit more consistent in it's strategy and have found that the 8 racks aren't all that useful when early game. This is where the deck struggles the most I feel. Early aggression is very hard to deal with, especially when you have a hand with 2 racks in it. These cards are what you want to draw into mid-game and they don't help you out until then. So I've axed all 8 in favor a more aggressive plan.

Tasigur, the Golden Fang is the perfect idea for this strat I feel. With the right hand he is castable on turn 3. There are other combos in the deck, but I'll show you a turn 3 Tasigur and you be the judge.

turn 1 Fetch Inquisition of Kozilekturn 2 Fetch Blackmail + Thoughtseize turn 3 Tasigur, the Golden Fang is delved into play with a mana open assuming you hit your land drop. Pretty solid.

One of my favorite combos.Dark Deal + Smallpox + Waste Not this is again an assuming situation, that they would have a land in hand turn 3. If you're playing against a slower opponent this combo should put you far ahead in the game.

I have yet to play the deck and am looking for a bit of assistance. Understandably the original version of 8 rack is fringe at best, and I'm just wondering if the changes made are enough to take it to the next step or just keep it a different version of fringe.
