Grixis midrange Goals: Be a flexible midrange deck that has a good selection of control elements, with decent creatures to protect.

Pros: The ability to be more proactive than standard UB control. We have some very good creatures, excellent card draw options, and the direct kill options in both red and black.

Khans: Although we do have 2 sets of fetchlands for the color combination, we don't have the tri-set tap lands as the wedges do. We will need to look for more options with a single color in the mana cost, instead of double or triple, at least for early game cards. We want to be flexible and be able to play our creatures.

Plan: Try to keep our opponents off their quick early game starts, then play creatures they can't deal with and back them up with good counterspells and kill options. We can use excellent our draw options to refill our hands.
