Something to think about is maybe running Monastery Siege over Tormenting Voice also Anticipate instead of Taigam's Scheming. I know it fills up your grave yard fast but it wastes a turn and when you play combo style you kind of want to keep your opponent on their toes. Never let them get comfortable with the gamestate. Play as many things at instant speed as you can. As far as your side board goes, I would do 3 Lightning Strike, 3 Stoke the Flames, 2 Negate, 2Swan Song, 2 Mindswipe, 1 Outpost Siege and 2 Roast. Hope this helps. I built a similar one and have been playtesting it. That's what helped me. I also run 2 Goblin Rabblemaster which has won games by itself.
+1 Like the idea.

Outpost Siege might help you out. You can either have an extra card to play each turn, or make the big hit from Descent of the Dragons + Dragon Tempest even bigger.

Thanks all! Anticipate is definitely the better choice. Monastery Siege and Outpost Siege both look useful. I will be thinking on those.

I think you need to cut down on cards that does nothing by itself.Impact Tremors are bad. Dragon Tempest also you don't need 4. 2-3 is enough.Hour of Need also definitely falls in this category. I suggest 0 or 1. It's really bad if you only have 1 or 2 blue sources.Dakra Mystics might seem good for digging your library, but it's too slow. I would rather add Lightning Strike or Stokes or cheap aggro creatures like Monastery Swift.Additional wincon by aggro is better to fight control decks.
I would put 2 or 3 Outpost Siege in the sideboard against controls. I tried Monastery Siege and it always under-performed.Hope that helps!

Looks nasty (for your opponent), but needs a better name.
May I suggest...Iunno...Dragonrush? Izzet a Dragon?

Lol Haushinka. My version is called Dragon You Down (RUG Combo). Aren't puns great?

Monastery Siege Might be a useful sideboard card. Extra card draw / delve fuel, or "protection" when it's relevant before you get the combo.

I tried similar deck at last FNM. UR Dragon tokens. I won all Game 1s but couldn't win the game 2 & 3 after opp knows the combo. Too many tokens hate.

There certainly is a lot of token hate out there. Hence Negate (main & side) and Dissipate (side). And if I'm playing against red and/or black, Purphoros, God of the Forge and Outpost Siege can turn tokens into burn.
It may be challenging to develop the tech for it, but the testing has been encouraging.

Just wanted to thank you all in particular for the advice. I feel like I'm off to a good start here, & I sure had a blast playing it!

I might pull Foundry Street Denizen to side vs control or drop it completely. It's just there to be a 1-drop to sneak in a little early damage, and judging by tonight's performance, mainboard Lightning Strike sounds lovely.

I'm glad your deck had a decent turn out on unveiling. Keep up the good work. I told Goblin Rabblemaster can win games by himself.

Oh, had no doubt of that! That card beat me a lot during my first few standard events.
Id he didn't require all gobbies to attack (risking the base for my combo), I'd pick up 2 more in a heartbeat.

Congrats on the deck.
Do you find rabblemaster makes your tokens attack when you would rather they hang back and populate your board in preparation to Descent them? He seems counter intuitive to me.

It's something i have to watch for, certainly. Hasn't been a real problem thus far; i think keeping him to 2 is worth the risk for the extra aggro umph. It has been nice to have a combo deck that stands a chance when the combo doesnt happen.

I feel like Monastery Swiftspear might work better with the deck than Foundry Street Denizen because you will be able to sneak in a lot of quick damage and if it is not dealt with, just like Goblin Rabblemaster, you will get a lot of value out of it.

I may try that. Foundry Street Denizen has been lackluster. Maybe I'll give Monastery Swiftspear a try before removing the 1- drops completely.

I have an idea, why not add white for Jeskai Ascendancy. Add Raise the Alarm while reducing Goblin Fodder to just 1 or 2. It will help with the surprise or dodging sorcery speed removal. With white we also get enchantment removals to combat Virulent Plague. Jeskai Tokens hybrid!

I've built a similar deck, but mines kind of an all in combo version. I added green for the full suite of Mana Dorks. As for your version, I'd play Anticipate over Taigam's Scheming. It doesn't go quite as deep, or put cards in your yard, but actually putting one in your hand is pretty huge. Plus, it's an instant. My version is here, if you're interested in checking it out: Dragon You Down (RUG Combo)
