Why are you playing Bolt of Keranos over Arc Lightning ? The scry one is irrelevant compared to the value of A lightning.

I never really had a time where I was mad at myself for not having Arc Lightning. Anything I can kill with it, I can usually outrace anyway.

Still, Arc Lightning is easier on your mana and can deal the extra damage to the player while clearing the way for Seeker of the Way . It is a strict upgrade, especially when you need to cast two burn spells on turn five and don't have 3 red mana up.

Really like this build +1

Have you thought about a Keranos, God of Storms or a Narset, Enlightened Master in the side for those long grindy matchups? Your mana base may not be able to support them in multiples, but I think only running one as a singleton would be fine, and very beneficial when you're able to play it.

Jeskai Ascendancy would be sick in this deck +1

Jeskai Ascendancy is brutally good.

You should also consider some low cost protection spells for your dudes.

Swan Song , Gods Willing and Feat of Resistance are all really good

I would also put Brimaz, King of Oreskos in the sideboard to be able to switch with Goblin Rabblemaster depending on what you are playing against (Brimaz is better against burn decks or other aggro decks) with vigilence and generating tokens on attack and block.

Over all though, love the deck.

Very solid deck. I would actually cut Goblin Rabblemaster here. He just doesn't do a lot for you here, taking time off on turn 3 to cast it could really hurt you, I think you would rather be playing burn spells there and pumping your prowess creatures. The deck is good, don't get me wrong but personally I would play it like this: -4x Goblin Rabblemaster , -2x Seeker of the Way , +2x Jeskai Ascendency, +1x Narset, Enlightened Master , +1x Mountain , and +2x Anger of the Gods to fight rabble decks, kill green mana dorks and stop jeskai combo.

All that burn, and no Satyr Firedancer ? It basically wipes the board for you.

Before I forget, another useful card, atleast for the sideboard, might be Dictate of the Twin Gods

how your deck do against abzan rhino? do you try to kill before turn 4/5 ?

October 17, 2014 11:27 a.m.

@doukychou Siege Rhino is basically this decks biggest enemy. The best way to fight it is to get in enough damage before they drop it. That way you can still burn them out.

There's a year end standard tournament that I attend each year. I don't normally play standard so I had to put together a deck for that tourney. I decided to take a deck list very, very similar to this one for budget reasons.

I must say, this is a pretty bad ass deck. My first three rounds were a breeze. The only two tough decks that I ran into were the Azban/Whip and a heroic deck. I ended up racing the heroic deck and that match ended up being a toss up. A better draw on round 1 would have won me that one. The Azban/Whip however was much more difficult to deal with.

I'd recommend adding 3x Glare of Heresy and another Banishing Light for the sideboard. There's not a lot of options here for neutralizing the whip or getting the Rhino off the table permanently. With the whip's lifelink this is by far the worst match up I had.

I want to give you major props for this deck list however. It's a real beat stick!
