Mono-black cancer that wins the game by making opponents sacrifice and discard while draining all their life.
I've been developing this deck for years and I hope to take it into the competitive scene one day.
After many iterations, the deck is finally starting to feel competitive. Give it a shot. Troll your opponents to no end.
How to Use
Step 1: Discard
Spam out Thoughtseize and Inquisition of Kozilek as fast as you can. Open with Thoughtseize first and use Inquisition of Kozilek to mop up anything with a CMC of 3 or less. Cripple the opponent's hand. Leave them no room to maneuver and as few chances as possible to play useful cards. Prioritize enemy counterspells and any strong early game creatures.
Step 2: Build the Engine
Play Ayara, First of Locthwain on turn 3 if you can. Add Bitterblossom if you didn't play it on turn 2, and follow up with Oona's Blackguard as soon as possible. Ayara, First of Locthwain's triggered ability will cancel out the life you would lose from the Bitterblossom tokens entering, and Oona's Blackguard will power them up.
Begin attacking with these tokens as soon as possible and watch them continue shredding the enemy hand thanks to Oona's Blackguard. If the opponent has fliers of their own, you can always hold back a token or two for defense, but once the skies are clear, press the attack. Sacrifice tokens that have already attacked with Ayara, First of Locthwain to continue drawing cards.
Add more creatures as you draw them. Play Blood Artist when possible, and use Dauthi Voidwalker to join in the attack and keep the opponent's cards from reaching their graveyard.
Step 3: Drain Their Life
Once you have Blood Artist out (and ideally multiple copies of it), use whatever sacrifice triggers you have available to get rid of your tokens and drain the opponent's life. Viscera Seer is especially useful here, since you can activate its ability as much as you want. Make sure you keep at least one creature that has been powered up by Oona's Blackguard so you can keep making the opponent discard when you attack. You should be quickly depleting the opponent's life, but if you want a really spicy finish and you haven't used it yet, cast Bontu's Last Reckoning and let the triggered ability from your Blood Artists drain 10+ life from your opponent. Make sure to give your opponent your biggest smile when you do this, as it adds to the salt and might make them scream from pure rage. Bonus points if they attempt to flip the table, or just grab their cards and storm off.
