Discard with Burglar Rats concept, looking for suggestions about how to add more synergy in Standard.

• Davriel, Rogue Shadowmage and Davriel's Shadowfugue are the core for dealing passive damage via discard and limiting any opponent options.
• Burglar Rat and Piper of the Swarm are intended to be block fodder or poke down opponents with their effect synergy.
• Ayara, First of Locthwain and the other draw effects are to avoid an empty hand and draw any of the creatures or planeswalkers or land for creating more tokens.
• Removal with options like Negate and Bone Splinters are to help prevent more overwhelming control effects.

I'm mainly worried if I can reduce the scope of this deck to make it more consistent. The low number of creatures is my biggest concern. Appreciate any feedback, it's my first attempt at actually crafting from scratch.
