Bladewing's Thrall was always a weird card. Who would combine zombie tribal with dragons? Still, a 3/3 flyer that recurs itself for free is mighty tempting. The problem is, there was only ever one zombie dragon, the Bladewing itself... that is, until now.

Scourge of Nel Toth is the card Bladewing's Thrall was waiting for all this time. It can be played from the graveyard cheaply as long as you feed it two creatures, and when it comes into play (whether fair or foul) the Thrall is immediately reanimated. Heck, if you sacrifice a Thrall (or two!) to it, that same Thrall will immediately come back to fly on the Scourge's back.

Cryptbreaker conveniently grants a way to put big guys in your graveyard while providing token fodder for the Scourge or Dread Return. Rotting Rats is both a discard outlet and a worthy choice for discarding/sacrificing due to its Unearth ability.

Gravecrawler is easy fodder for the Scourge or any discard outlet. He doesn't come back for free, but one mana is as close as you can get.

Dread Return is the only way to bring back Bladewing the Risen, Dragon Broodmother or Teneb, the Harvester, but they're more reliable than you might think. Grab Bladewing, the Broodmother and a Thrall with Buried Alive, then next turn Dread Return Bladewing and the other two creatures come back free. Teneb can bring back other dragons as long as he can attack, but don't forget he can grab your opponent's goodies, too.

Prized Amalgam, meanwhile, happily comes back for free whenever Gravecrawler, Rotting Rats, Scourge of Nel Toth or Bladewing's Thrall are brought back. Who's going to say no to a free 3/3?

So Teneb, the Harvester brings back Bladewing the Risen, who brings back Dragon Broodmother, who brings back Bladewing's Thrall, who brings back Prized Amalgam, who brings back Gravecrawler.... Everyone's bringing back everyone else! It's a mess!
