Sideboard

Recently Gifts Ungiven has become a pet card of mine, and think that it's incredibly underrated. I also use it in a Junk/Abzan shell for additional card advantage, and also had another 4 colour deck, the same colours as this one, so thought why not make it another Gifts Ungiven deck?

This time, it resembles a more traditional Jeskai or Esper control deck, with the Unburial Rites combo as a win-condition against certain match-ups. In others, particularly against other control decks, the sideboard allows for a more aggressive, Geist of Saint Traft oriented gameplan, as the combo is often easily disrupted by a counterspell, often resulting in a 2, or even 3-for-1, for your opponent.

This deck is as close to a draw-go deck that there will be in Modern, and attempts to do almost everything at instant speed, during your opponents turn. It is very reactive, with removal and counterspells to wear down your opponents resources to the point where you can either go for the Unburial Rites + large creature win, or through Celestial Colonnade beatdown.
