I realize that Standard format Magic the Gathering has devolved into a small number of deck archetypes that are based around a handful of environment defining cards...and any "new" lists are more or less variations on existing ideas...so this is my attempt to crack an old archetype into the current standard meta. My hope is to actually create an optimal Simic Tempo deck that hopes to swing with a 3/3 creature over the course of seven turns. I accept the cards are sub-optimal, but call me old fashioned to think I can brew a deck where the sum of the parts will win out more than they lose. In the absence of blue-green madness in today's Standard, this is the best we can do to put out cheap 3/3s and flying 4/4s with bounce and counter in hand.
