Thats a great idea, thanks! Completely forgot to build a sideboard for it. :P

Iroas, God of Victory is a definite win-con, but comes at a decent price for budget ($5-ish). Spear of Heliod is nice and only a dollar. Aegis Angel is a great angel and also only a dollar. Pacifism is a near-staple for any deck running white. Chained to the Rocks is a super-pacifism but for a dollar. Swords to Plowshares is two dollars, but well worth it.
More-Budget Cards: Ajani's Presence , Dawnbringer Charioteers , Desperate Stand , Flamespeaker's Will , and more. If you need more suggestions, I'd be glad to help.

Before I can 100% properly help you out, I need to know what you mean by "surviving rotation". Take Boros Guildgate out if you want this is to be legal after rotation, haha.
I don't understand Fall of the Hammer since there are no bombs in this deck D:These are all great cards to consider in my Boros Aggro deck. Triplicate Spirits , Raise the Alarm , and Akroan Hoplite . You should also find some room for one or two Soul of Theros . Very VERY good card, and is quite cheap too, 2-3$ usually.I disagree with aegis angel, 6 for 5/5 flyer is alright, but giving indestructible to a 1/1 - 4/4 isnt very intimidating. Pacifism is good, but its rotating out soon. Spear of Heliod is awesome.

I do suppose my Aegis Angel recommendation was based around my success with it. I play EDH, so a lot of my cards are either out of rotation, too expensive, or both. Akroan Hoplite would be pretty good in a weenie deck, which is what most Boros decks in the current rotation are (without the godsend that Gatecrash was to Boros). Elspeth, Sun's Champion is extremely fantastic, but way too expensive for budget. Perhaps Gods Willing would be a nice addition to protect some of your larger guys, as well as setting off heroic. Hammer of Purphoros is nice for giving tokens haste, and in a last resort, getting golems. Goblin Rabblemaster is a fantastic card for weenie decks, but at $4-5, it's mildly expensive.

I think Elspeth is more of a control card, Id much rather give my existing creatures power with Ajani Steadfast or something that isnt a planewalker. I do not like Elspeth very much in aggro decks. If you want three dudes, just go with Triplicate Spirits :)

Yeah but when do you ever get to use your walker's ultimates? Against casuals and/or newbies, thats about it. lol.Oh, and U/W control

Well I've not played standard in over a year. I'm used to the fun, slow pace of an EDH game, where ultimates of walkers are a present and prevalent danger. It's hard for me to even think of Boros cards not in the RTR block (mainly Gatecrash) or the Shadowmoor block (mainly Eventide).

I am also playing a Boros Soldiers deck (Soldiers Of Fortune). I concur with those above about Launch The Fleets, I also recommend Obelisk Of Urd($3). This card will allow you to push through damage and win! +1

For creatures, I'd add Borderland Marauder and Nyxborn Rollicker . For them, I'd cut Akroan Skyguard and Satyr Hoplite . The Marauder is a more solid, aggressive card for less mana and the Rollicker is a good heroic enabler. I find Dauntless Onslaught to be unreliable, being three mana. A good replacement for that would be Lightning Strike or some other removal spell. If you're set on having a heroic enabler, try Titan's Strength . Gods Willing is a good replacement for Mortal's Ardor , and Dragon Mantle is an awesome aura for one mana.

Maybe Stoke the Flames somewhere. Allows you to get rid of walkers and deals with cards that might stall your deck (Courser and Brimaz mainly). Between the Crusader Tokens and all the low cost creatures it should be easy to cast with convoke...

@Nate_the_Great Thanks for the suggestions. I already have a playset of Nyxborn Rollicker in the mainboard. I am not going to remove Akroan Skyguard because it is absolutely amazing in this deck. This deck has little evasion other than this dude. Dauntless Onslaught is an amazing finisher in this deck as it is usually +3/+3 on two creatures for 3.

If you plan on attacking with multiple people each turn, someone like Akroan Hoplite would be a decent choice. Archetype of Courage is also quite nice, as your tokens can turn into threats. Fabled Hero has double strike and is amazing. Fleetfeather Sandals gives a creature evasion. Hundred-Handed One is a great blocker with some decent power, and can be given reach (In addition to the ability to block ninety-nine extra creatures). Wingsteed Rider is also good for some cheap evasion.

If your looking for another deck like this, I have a Naya Sligh deck Who said Naya Can't be Sly? . It's a little more hit and miss, but it might give you what your looking for.

Some REALLY nice evasion in this deck could maybe be Cavalry Pegasus . Sure it's only when they attack but decks like these usually do not block as it is. Especially if you're adding in Iroas, God of Victory

I do agree with TrexWantsHighFives when it comes to Cavalry Pegasus . Much better than the Wingsteed Rider I recommended.

Trumpet Blast seems like it would put in good work here, as well as Rise to the Challenge allowing you to overpower most 4 and 5 drops in combat, while having your dudes survive
September 14, 2014 2:23 p.m.
matrix1312 , Trumpet Blast isn't standard to begin with, and second it doesn't trigger heroic. Rise to the Challenge is subpar in this deck because we already have Fall of the Hammer , which allows us to deal with their creatures and get through with damage.

Well just to say, Trumpet Blast is seeing reprint in Khans of Tarkir.

while Fall of the Hammer is just a removal spell, Rise to the Challenge can be a pseudo-burn spell, it fills the same role that Rubblebelt Maaka does in that when there are no blockers it is just 1 mana 3 dmg

Caravaneer546 says... #24
Rubblebelt Maaka does a much better job. Rise to the Challenge isn't that good of a card, especially since it only targets one creature.

You should honestly take out Mortal Obstinacy and replace it with 2 Spear of Heliod . Its MUCH better, trust me. I have Obstinacy in my sideboard.
