Let's break it down for you
Creatures
Eidolon of the Great Revel- This card is a beast. Almost every card in modern is a card less than 3 cmc, so it is constantly dealing 2 damage, however you have to be cautious with how you play it, and when you play it. When playing against Tron, this will go out, almost everything in tron is over 3 cmc, so this will leave.
Goblin Guide- Primary beater that can actually overflow a hand and force people to discard. It also allows them to get a better land hand if they were screwed with mulligans, etc.
Monastery Swiftspear- This card was going to be a Vexing Devil, but i opted for the swiftspear. Swiftspear can continually pump out damage, although a weak t1 compared to the devil. It easily can turn a 1 damage attack into 5 with some mana untapped, and, maybe 3 Lightning Bolts in hand. Just kidding. Still a great card!
Instants
Lightning Bolt- Hey, Phil, yeah you, Phil, get over here, i gotta show you this. Proceeds to kill you with one mana up and burns you to shit while you were at one life. This is a frikkin' awesome spell, and it will never get sided out.
Boros Charm- Hey, what's that you say? oh, just 4 to the face. Don't mind me. Also, it could give my permanents indestructible if you wanted to Supreme Verdict, but what's the point when i just burn you the last 4 anyway?
Searing Blaze- Deals more damage than
Searing Blood
, but it does rely on the land.
Skullcrack- despite costing 2 mana, it is still an effective spell that i would cast to a. kill someone, or b. prevent life gain.
Mutagenic Growth- When you can swing 4 turn 1 with the swiftspear, this is quite a fun card.
Sorceries
Rift Bolt
- This is a great spell that can boost a swiftspear from the turn before, and can also allow for some unaccounted damage on the opponents stuff.
Lava Spike- Hey Phil, come back, no. Okay. Hey, John, get over here! Proceeds to throw a lava spike in his face then swing in for lethal. This is another 3 damage for 1 mana, although it is a sorcery.
Land
White mana is used for Stony Silence, Leyline of Sanctity, and Boros Charm
Red is used for stomping your face in.
Sideboard
Leyline of Punishment- Since i can normally out burn the opponents, i have no need for a Leyline of Sanctity, so i opted for this. This shuts down the annoying part of Wurmcoil Engine, all life gain decks, and, screw you
Kor Firewalker
you are out of here for good.
Leyline of Sanctity- This card shuts down Abzan advantages with Liliana of the Veil, or Thoughtseize. Also works well against any deck with burn spells in it.
