I made a deck based on the regular grixis control deck but I don't like tasigur as much as everyoneelse and I think bobs still good.
Bob and jace help draw and filter the cards in hand while the decks innately low curve minimizes how much damage bob does to you. Additionally the low curve let's me run less lands which in turn helps fill the deck with more action spells.
The concept of the deck is similiar yo jund, but insread of 1 for 1 attrition, i wanted the focus to be 2 for 1 attrition. Snapcaster and flipped jace are the back bone of the deck in this sense as they let all my "used" cards answer an additional card from an opponent. This is especially powerful with kolgans command, allowing you to pick up dead jace and snaps while also killing an artifact or x/2 creature, or forcing a discard. Just to get snapped a the next turn for more value.
The deck wins with snap beats and attition. Pack rat can also help swing grindy match ups. Generally the cards you pitch are able to be used again, and the exponential growth of the card can make it hard to answer. And if they do you probably 2 for 1'd them unless you over extended into a wipe or something, and you can just pick it up again with kolgans.
The mana base probably could be tuned better. A major issue for this deck is life management. Unlike jeskai control, there is no way to gain your life back. As such the deck really struggles with the burn matchup. Interestingly aggro decks aren't as bad assuming you have a good hand. I've practiced a lot against affinity, and the only games I lost were to its god hands. Kolgans gives you a really strong pre board tool.
I think that grixis control could be pretty good in this meta. It can answer most of what the midrange decks can play pretty easily between its removal and counter suite, while also giving you access to targeted discard for combo decks. It struggles against boggles and burn, and I think a well piloted tokens deck could give it trouble as well, if only because of how much that deck fuks with our game plan of 1 for 1 and 2 for 1s.
