I would add some anti-life gain spells in the side board like tainted remedy or skullcrack against life gain spells like lightning helix or something like that. It seems you might be weak against something like burn and spell focused decks like storm, but I think it's a cool idea still.

I have a very similar deck that uses white in addition to red and black. White gives you access to damage-redirecting bull like Deflecting Palm, Harm's Way, Souls of the Faultless and Wall of Essence among other things. Hunted Lammasu is another way to force a creature onto your opponent, which can be a problem if they don't have any creatures of their own and/or you can't find Sleeper Agent.
I also recommend Lust for War to replace Nettling Curse; it's just plain better.
If you wanna see my version, it's I am Rubber, You are Dead

Hey TheWhiteFang I am not too worried abut life gain as I haven't really come across it at my local, and if I was going to have anything for that I would use Everlasting Torment. My side board is designed for anti creatures by enchanting lands instead. You make a good point about storm though, I have come across a few decks. Whilst storm is pretty awesome it is easy to counter it with something like Grafdigger's Cage, Chalice of the Void? Or as most storm decks are izzet maybe eve something like Kraken's Eye

Hey Angry_Potatoes, cool deck dude I can see the similarities. My sideboard is designed for lack of creatures by enchanting lands instead. Yeah I originally looked at the card and decided against it, but now that I have seen it again I can see it is definitely the better option. Thank you :)

You could also use some Forbidden Orchards to generate some creatures for your opponent. =)

Sure! =) I made a whacky deck recently in which I used 4of them, too. A different route than yours, but sooo much fun: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/29-07-14-killing-pokemon/

I have a deck sorta like this, except it uses white instead of black and punishes you when I block instead. You can check it out on my profile for some ideas (like Boros Reckoner) of you'd like. I refuse to link my decks on other people's decks.

This deck is strictly budget I'm afraid, also someone recommended this before, and as I said to them, the last thing I want to be doing in this deck is having my opponent sacrifice there creatures as they are the source of there demise! Also I cannot see how me discarding will help me.

I had it in there originally, swapped it for lust for war.

Man, if you had a greedy 3 color mana base, adding white could be pretty sweet, potentially adding Order of the Stars, Perimeter Captain, Wall of Essence, Wall of Omens, and Souls of the Faultless as blockers in addition to giving you some great sideboard options. Of course, you seem to want to keep it on a budget, but if you ever decide to upgrade the deck or for those who might be interested in a different version of it, this seems like a great choice.

Just for the sake of having cheaper defenders I would definitely recommend adding Consulate Skygate.

so why no use of cards like Boros Reckoner or Spitemare? they don't actually require you to run white in the build to play, and the horse is super cheap budget wise even. Also, people have mentioned cards like Souls of the Faultless to you before and, given you've got the orchard, you should be more than able to run these types of defenders very easily and not break your budget.

Hey WhisperingBlade, calvinwarning, skoobysnackz and TheRedGoat.
Even though the white cards would be useful, I kinda want to keep it two color. Also I would have to swap out the 6 toughness creatures. I have them in there because all it takes is a + counter and Sleeper Agent can kill the defender.
Yeah I may swap the wall of fire for that.
I don't think I would get much use out of slumbering dragon tbh.
I don't think I can make room for the first two cards without disturbing the rest of the deck. And I don't really want to add a third color, not for one white. But yeah I was thinking of making my maybe board higher budget cards for this deck.
Thank you all for the suggestions/upvotes :)

I've actually been running a very similar deck to this for quite some time now, and I'm surprised at how well a deck like this can actually run. :)
I know someone has already suggested the Disowned Ancestor and you thought against it, but I can confirm that running them instead of some higher CMC cards (or even the Steel Walls) would be better. If nothing else at all and you have extra mana at the end of your turn (as you sometimes will), Outlast for a beefier wall. ;) Otherwise cheers! I believe I may turn back to mine and model some cards after yours. That Skin Invasion looks sick.
Also I may have passed out by accident when rushing to add a comment, but have you considered Rage Nimbus? At first I was skeptical, but eventually it became a solid card in my deck.

I've won at least three games because my opponents forgot that I had Blood Reckoning on the field and they tried to swing over or around my defenses. At four mana, it's a little pricey for the effect, but just having one on the battlefield is potential for hilarity that fits the theme. It deals damage before the creatures deal damage, so they can't suicide into you either.

Great deck, been toying around with an idea like this myself. I know people have mentioned it but I suggest swapping Skin Invasion Flip for Nettling Curse or Stab Wound. I don't think the deck has many ways to kill opponents creatures, so I think Skin is in the deck as a deterrent for them to kill their own creatures??
Also it is untested but maybe try out War's Toll it works well for both strategies: Creatures attack and post sideboard Land Pain against Control.

Sgt_St0n3r -- In that case, what you are looking for is a playset of Savage Lands, which are conveniently currently on presale for the new commander set; four for $1.
I would not go over four taplands for this build, so your other options are B/R Pain Lands, Shock Lands, Fetch Lands, and Fast Lands (in order of increasing price). By a strange turn of fate, I happen to have three B/R Pains and one B/R Fetch on ebay for considerably below market value at the moment. Here are the listings if you are interested:
3x B/R Pain Lands for $8.88 Shipped (Market Price = $3.47 each, or $10.41 Total).
1x B/R Onslaught Fetch Land for $17.89 Shipped (Market Price = $23.39)
