Interesting build. Have you considered running Sword of Fire and Ice for Delver? Very powerful card in modern delver. Running a couple Vendilion Clique mainboard wouldn't be a bad Idea, and something like Shatterstorm would be some good SB affinity hate for you. Do you run the Breeding Pool for the flashback on Ancient Grudge ?

This configuration has worked perfectly for quite some time. I rarely get screwed on colors, and that usually only happens when I don't draw enough fetches. I need black more often in the early game than I do, which is why there are more black sources than red.

Oh i did not in any way mean for it to be rude. Sorry. I can see what you mean, but if you dont want to completely rape your wallet buying fetches, you might want to consider pain lands instead.

I might do that until I can get the fetches, but with Khans here I can get the Polluted Delta s pretty easily now. As for the Tarns, I'll have to find some way to get them, though it'll take a while.

I may just use the painlands in paper as I do want to start playing this deck at my LGS.

You need at least one basic mountain. Imagine only having a single steam vents out, and then getting hit by a ghost quarter or tectonic edge. You no longer have a red source. Imagine getting pathed and needing a red source. No mountains. Imagine a world where you have two life, but a mountain would win the game.

You don't need 20 lands. I'd drop to 19 and add 1 more of anything.

Grim Lavamancer and Dark Confidant are two really good guys to have. I don't know if they work here, but they're really good.

I know you used to have Bob so maybe he doesn't work good enough for you.

Dark Confidant just didn't work here for me. He would draw me cards, but I always preferred to have Young Pyromancer than him. Anyways, I am alright on card advantage with all my cantrips.

I'll play some numbers a little to see how I can fit in the Lavamancer. I don't doubt he'd be good as a 2-of.

What would you think about Blistercoil Weird + Paradise Mantle + Monastery Swiftspear and a bunch of cheap cantrips? How easy or hard to set that up?

I would never run the Weird combo for anything besides some good laughs. It's definitely worse than what I have going on, plus it's far more inconsistent. Anyways, this isn't meant to be a combo deck. It's just good ol' Delver beats.
