This deck is a value based toolbox deck utilizing Evolutionary Leap to blank removal and grind out games. With the banning if Birthing Pod, Collected Company was the obvious choice to replace it. Forcing you to build your deck in a very specific way. Evolutionary Leap does not have a lot of these restrictions. You're not punished for playing 4+ CMC creatures, more removal or discard.
