My take on a U/R Storm list for modern. I decided to drop an Opt for a Peek as I'm playing with 2 Remand s and an Unsubstantiate . This should help out a little in combo and control matchups while not significantly hindering how it'll perform in faster matchups on game 1.

If you're sideboarding out cantrips to speed yourself up vs decks like Burn and Humans where you won't have much time, Peek is definitely the first to go. If you're against Bant Spirits and think the Peek will help play around Spell Queller then hey, you do you. Pyromancer Ascension has kind of fallen out of favor as of late, but I feel that even with a fair amount of graveyard hate, stacking it should not be too hard, and it lets you storm off without a bear in play.

Maybeboard is for cards that one could definitely argue for the inclusion of, but figuring out what to cut is the hard part. Most lists do play a single copy of Noxious Revival but with my current plan of being more counter-focused, I couldn't find any room for it. Shattering Spree is another big contender over Shatterstorm if you're running into a lot of Chalice of the Void and not running into a lot of Affinity, where the Abrade s just aren't cutting it. I might start sideboarding in Thing in the Ice   instead of Ascension if I run into a lot of Phoenix/Humans, but I'm really not sure yet.
