Thanks! yeah not sure about Phyresis as it would be a dead card 90% of the time.
Just think about Vampire Nighthawk as a removal with some life gain xD

How about some Plague Stinger to get the ball rolling a tad sooner? +1
October 7, 2013 2:45 a.m.
Thx for the suggestion :D
I think this is more of a control deck. You want to control the game via discard/removal and then win using one of your difficult to deal with threats, so i dont see Plague Stinger being very useful here... thanks anyway!

guessing inquisition over Thoughtseize because of price?

Yep it's too expensive D:, Thoughtseize would go instead of Raven's Crime probably

Its an ok infect but I do want to thank you for the Pike/infect idea. It seems good a 4/2 infect with pike attacks blocked by a 5/5, the 5/5 gets first striked and goes to 1/1 now with four -1/-1 counters on it before it hits back and its stuck like that. Pike and infect is nasty.

Hey thx for the +1s!

djpickering sure! ill check it out later
PastryBagMagic7 hmm im thinking about including Grafdigger's Cage in the sideboard instead of Leyline of the Void , that would help

I hate it. Partly because i play U/G infect that i feel is stronger. Partly because infect is the most broke rule in mtg. So friggin easy to hit someone for 10 its rediculous. The only reason i play it is if someone pissed me off last game i turn three kill them and they back off.

Felixlives, i don't know what's better but i think this deck it's more interensting and enjoyable to play since it's much more interactive. Deathrite Shaman it's broken, infect it's not xD

john_paul_masters, hm I don't think so. Since my deck wins through infect the life gain or lose of my opponent is irrelevant, but Devour Flesh is easer to cast with Inkmoth Nexus or Ghost Quarter and in rare occasions can win me some life sacrificing one of my own creatures.

What about Mutagenic Growth and Livewire Lash a friend of mine runs mono black infect with controll to handle threats. The mutagenic growth can bring you that much closer to the win when you attack and the lash is one of the only equipments that allows the creature to deal direct damage to a player. With mutagenic growth and funeral charm potentially targeting your creature if he is equipped with livewire lash you swing with a 2 power creature pump him with both spells adding 4 to his power and dealing an additional 4 directly to your opponents face for lethal infect. I play 1 lash and 1 Inquisitor's Flail in my infect deck the flail is really good as i play unblockable infecters.

I thought there was vampire nighthawks in here i was also going to suggest Tainted Strike or for a lifelink chumper Flensermite or for a slightly harder to block early drop Plague Stinger

This deck is sweet man. +1 from me. I might give this build a go if you dont mind in the near future. I'd probably add some Sign in Blood instead of the other draw because I could use it to hit my opponent for a late game kill if needed, but irrelevant in this deck haha.

I prefer mono-green infect over black because of all the buffing from cards and a turn 2 win is possible and it could be made under $75 or $50 dollars but this is a pretty good deck regardless for that controlish feel. Good Job!

Yeah i like U/G infect personally it has some tricks and unblockable is better than trample. Blue green infection check out mine.

Just wondering, how is the deck working without either Runechanter's Pike or Bonesplitter? Most mono B Infect builds I have seen use either of those equips to make stealing a quick victory once control is established possible and as a result I was wondering how fast your build can close things out without any equipment to help speed up the poisoning?
Other then that, looks like a pretty darn good deck.

hey soooooooooo, just a thought, I like your deck and I'm +1-ing it, but maybe throw in a Phyresis or 2 for that Vampire Nighthawk , the three ability thing would hurt fast. But it's not really necessary, as it would be redundant on all the other creatures
